Until the end of November it will be possible to assist O Barbeiro de Sevilha, a new montage of the famous Rossini opera of which I co-authored the stage set.

O Barbeiro de Sevilha is the first opera with a completely animated stage design, in which singers and orchestra interact with a projection synced to live music during over two hours of this all-time favorite ‘Opera buffa’.

Concept and stage direction are by Pier Francesco Maestrini. Graphic concept and animations by Joshua Held.

The show is produced by renowned conductor John Neschling and The Companhia Brasileira de Opera, and is made possible through the public patronage of The  Brazilian Ministry of Culture and private sponsors Petrobras and Banco di Brasil. The tour is touching all major Brazilian cities.
